Soy Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette

We love a blender dressing - quick, simple and minimal dishes. Kick up the heat with fresh ground ginger and chili, and add a little sweetness with orange juice and maple syrup, this dressing is sure to hit all the flavor profiles! Toss on mixed greens with grilled chicken, segmented oranges, scallions and crushed cashews for a fan favorite salad, or double the recipe and use as a marinade for tofu, salmon or steak for an easy weeknight meal.

Soy Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette

Serving Size: 1 fl oz
Makes 8 servings


Ingredients

3 TBSP apple cider vinegar
3 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
2 TBSP orange juice
1 TBSP ginger, fresh, grated
1 TBSP shallot, minced
1-1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1/8 tsp coriander, ground
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flake
1/2 cup canola oil*
1 tsp sesame oil
1 TBSP maple syrup

Instructions

1. In a blender, blend apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, orange juice, ginger, shallots, garlic, coriander, crushed red pepper flakes, sesame oil and maple syrup until smooth.

2. With blender on medium speed, drizzle oil slowly until emulsified.

3. Store leftover dressing in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

*RD Tip: Use a light, flavorless oil in this dressing instead of extra virgin olive or avocado oil which have a distinct flavor. Canola, grapeseed or vegetable oil work best.
