It's no coincidence that fresh cranberries are featured around the holidays. Sure, their bright colors make for festive treats and decorations, but the real reason cranberries are on display this time of year is because its peak harvest season!

Cranberry Apple Relish

Ingredients
3-1/2 cups fresh cranberries |
1.75 cups diced apples |
1/2 cup fresh apple cider |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup golden raisins |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, lower heat to a simmer, and cook until cranberries begin to break apart. Serve warm or chilled.
