Roasted Apple, Cinnamon, Honey Yogurt Parfait
Build this simple parfait using apples from your recent harvest and your favorite granola, or try it with our Quinoa, Oat, Sunflower Seed, Dried Fruit Granola
Ingredients
ROASTED APPLES |
1 lb apples, cored & diced |
2 tbsp. apple cider |
1 tbsp light brown sugar |
PARFAIT |
1/4 c. roasted apples |
2 tbsp. your favorite granola |
2 tsp. honey |
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon |
1/2 c. fat free Greek yogurt |
Instructions
FOR THE ROASTED APPLES
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place the cored and diced apples in a mixing bowl.
- Toss with the cider and brown sugar.
- Place on a sheet pan and roast in a 350F oven for 10 minutes, remove and chill.
FOR THE PARFAIT
- In a small bowl whish together the yogurt, honey and cinnamon.
- Top with roasted apples & granola.
